الملخص

Microfinance is a participatory credit approach through which flexible, convenient and accessible financial services can be made available to empower the poor, prepare them for their choices and build ways to free them from poverty, as it is one of the tools by which these social benefits can be provided on an ongoing, sustained and large scale. The study will focus on the government programs to finance small projects, provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the programs of financing industrial and agricultural projects, in addition to the initiative of the Central Bank of Iraq, through the launch of the National Fund for financing to finance small and medium enterprises. It will also be addressed to the Iraqi Network for Microfinance, and the extent to which these programs can be activated in targeting specific categories. The study starts from the hypothesis that the microcredit program contributes effectively to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, as they have the appropriate conditions and financing, demanded by the public and private sectors
