The impact of applying human engineering rules in raising the level of organizational health: a survey study at the University of Nahrain, College of Business Economics

This study aims to explore the impact of applying ergonomic principles on improving organizational health at Al-Nahrain University - College of Business Economics. A descriptive analytical approach was used to collect data from a sample of 192 individuals (24 faculty members, 52 employees, and 116 students) through an electronic questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical program to determine the relationship between the study variables. The results showed an average level of ergonomic principles and an average level of organizational health at the university. The results also showed a statistically significant positive relationship between the application of ergonomic principles and improving organizational health, with a correlation coefficient of 0.979. In addition, statistically significant differences were confirmed among sample members, based on their responses, and the differences were in favour of employees. The study recommends improving the work environment by paying attention to student seating, reducing noise levels at the university, and training employees and students in occupational safety programs.
