Abstract

The countries of the world are striving to achieve sustainable development at all levels in order to provide the present and future needs of society without affecting the resources of the natural environment and human health alike, and in line with global trends, the Iraqi government is trying to implement indicators of sustainable green production in all its production and service activities. Because of its effective role in achieving the goals of sustainable development at all levels (social - environmental - economic), and from this standpoint, the main objective of the study lies in evaluating the indicators of sustainable green production in Iraq. This goal will help the country's administration to identify the problems that prevent Applying the requirements of sustainable green production in Iraq, the most important of which are (weak financial allocations - mismanagement - delay in work - financial and administrative corruption in some aspects related to sustainability), and developing appropriate solutions to those problems to serve the objectives of this study, where several indicators were used to measure The level of sustainable green production, which is (renewable energy - green innovation - green building, sustainable agricultural development - sustainable development - green transportation), where data for these indicators were collected from many official sources in and outside Iraq, and after data collection and analysis, the study found many Conclusions and recommendations that are consistent with the nature of the study.
