Analysis of the relationship between private investment and the imbalance of the export structure in Iraq for the period(2005-2022)

Abstract

Economic instability has become a feature of the Iraqi economy since 2004, which has negatively affected private investment. The research aims to analyze the relationship between private investment and the imbalance in the export structure. The research assumes that the weakness of private investment causes a severe imbalance in the export structure. The research concluded that its assumption is correct; therefore, it recommended the importance of adopting a national investment plan that aims to create a real investment environment that supports and stimulates private sector investment.
