This research aims to diagnose and reduce the gap between the physical and software digital needs in modern technologies within the Office of the Iraqi Minister of Education and its affiliated departments. It examines the available capabilities in providing these technologies and the functional cadres qualified to operate them. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach to analyze the relationship between the independent variable (the digital gap with its sub-dimensions: access to technology and effective use) and the dependent variable (job performance with its sub-dimensions: task performance, creativity, and contextual performance). Data were collected from 133 respondents using a questionnaire based on the five-point Likert scale, and analyzed using statistical programs like SPSS, AMOS, and Excel. Key findings reveal that digital skills and confidence in technology significantly impact job performance more than other dimensions of the digital gap. The study recommends ensuring the equitable provision of technological devices and equipment to bridge the digital divide and enhance job performance.
