Economic diversification is one of the important pillars for the growth and development of any country's economy, as it creates a diverse production base that leads to the diversity of the gross domestic product, exports and revenues, and thus the diversity of sources of income, This helps countries face global crises. To achieve this, Iraq is one of the countries Which requires adopting and implementing a real and realistic strategy that contributes to confronting the weakness of diversifying its economy due to the challenges represented by the imbalances and distortions in its economic structure and foreign trade as a result of its dependence on a single source of income represented by oil revenues and the failure to exploit the surplus of those financial revenues In developing other non-oil sectors despite the abundance of natural and human resources, on this basis, the research aims to analyze and measure in order to obtain a real assessment of economic diversification in Iraq and the extent of its impact in maximizing non-oil revenues for the period (2004-2023).
