Analysis of Investment Indicators in Poverty Alleviation and Sustainable Development: A Case Study on( Ashur Bank

This research aims to analyze investment indicators in combating poverty and achieving sustainable development, with a focus on Ashur Bank as a case study. A descriptive and analytical methodology was used to study the investments provided by the bank during the period 2019-2023, and to evaluate their alignment with the Sustainable .Development Goals (SDGs) and their impact on local communities. The results showed that Ashur Bank primarily invested in sectors such as education, health, infrastructure, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and renewable energy. These investments contributed to improving the living standards of more than 600,000 people and reducing poverty. Additionally, the alignment of investments with Goal 4 (Quality Education) reached 90%, and with Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) reached 85%. However, the investments face challenges related to weak monitoring mechanisms, lack of transparency, and high costs of implementing environmental projects. Based on the findings, the research recommends enhancing environmental investments, improving implementation and monitoring mechanisms recommends reducing pressure on natural and economic resources, formulating scientifically
