The researchers aim through this research to diagnose the reality of the digital gap represented by the difference between the digital material and software needs in the field of modern technologies in the office of the Iraqi Minister of Education and some of its affiliated departments and the available capabilities, whether at the level of providing these technologies and devices or the availability of functional cadres capable of working and dealing with them to limit and reduce them to the maximum possible extent, which will in turn be reflected in the high level of job performance required that the ministry aspires to achieve among its employees. To achieve this, the descriptive analytical approach was the approach that was adopted to identify the correlation and influence between the main and sub-research variables represented by the independent variable of the digital gap with its sub-dimensions (digital skills and confidence in technology) and the dependent variable represented by job performance and its sub-dimensions (task performance, creativity and contextual performance).
