This study aims to examine the impact of circular economy strategies on reducing waste in production systems, through a field study conducted at Al-Joud Company for Industrial and Modern Agricultural Technology, as one of the companies seeking to adopt sustainable production practices that enhance resource-use efficiency and reduce losses in production processes. The study is motivated by a research problem represented by the limited systematic application of circular economy strategies in some industrial and agricultural companies, which leads to increased levels of waste in materials, energy, and time within production systems. The study adopted a field-based analytical approach, utilizing actual data available from the company related to practices of reuse, recycling, resource rationalization, and product life extension, in addition to indicators of waste in production systems. The data were analyzed to evaluate the current state of circular economy strategy implementation within the company and to measure its contribution to waste reduction and improvement of production process efficiency, using analytical methods appropriate to the nature of the available data. The findings revealed a significant positive effect of circular economy strategies on reducing waste in production systems, particularly in minimizing raw material losses and improving resource consumption efficiency. The results also demonstrated that activating these strategies contributes to enhancing production sustainability and achieving economic savings in the medium and long term. Accordingly, the study recommends strengthening the integrated adoption of circular economy strategies within the company by developing production policies, training employees, and implementing continuous monitoring and evaluation systems to
measure waste levels and improve production performance.
