The Role of Digital Governance in Achieving Sustainable Performance/ case study Central Bank of Iraq

Abstract

This research examines the role of digital governance in fostering sustainable performance at the Central Bank of Iraq, using a descriptive-analytical approach based on surveys, interviews, and official reports. The sample comprised 55 experienced employees, mostly in economics and accounting. Results indicate a clear institutional framework for digital transformation and notable progress in cybersecurity, data protection, and transparency. However, adoption of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and stakeholder co-design of digital services remains in early stages.
