Abstract

This research seeks to examine the relationship between financial sustainability and the competitiveness of financial institutions in an environment marked by rapid economic changes and intense competition. The study focuses on analyzing how adopting financial sustainability principles contributes to strengthening the competitive position of institutions by improving operational efficiency, increasing investor confidence, and complying with international standards of governance and transparency..The concept of financial sustainability is addressed as the institution’s ability to achieve a long-term Achieving an equilibrium between revenues and expenditures while maintaining financial stability and minimizing risks. The research also analyzes key indicators of sustainability such as diversified funding sources, debt management, and efficient financial resource utilization..The study concludes that financial institutions implementing effective financial sustainability strategies show increased stability amidst financial crises and enjoy a stronger reputation in the market, thus enhancing their long-term competitiveness. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between financial sustainability and financial performance indicators such as Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity ROE)
