Abstract

If violence takes many forms, such as physical, psychological, and sexual violence, and has serious repercussions in society, there is another type of violence that is no less dangerous than the other types, which is economic violence and sustainable economic violence. Although this type of violence is the outcome of savings, compulsory deduction in salaries, delay in distributing salaries, stopping promotion, and job promotion in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the petition and addressing this issue and studying the relationship between saving and sustainable economic violence amounts to nothingness. In light of the foregoing, this research came to analyze the philosophy of the relationship between saving and sustainable economic violence, and through the findings of the research, it appeared that compulsory saving is a form of economic violence, and economic violence in the Kurdistan Region - Iraq not only increased but continued as an inevitable result. Compulsory savings and deductions, the delay in distributing salaries, and stopping promotion and job promotion have a clear impact on the sustainability of economic violence in the Kurdistan Region - Iraq, and in conclusion, the research recommended a set of important policies and recommendations to deter and limit sustainable economic violence in the long term, and Including the financial sustainability of the region and the sustainable management of the region’s economy, adopting policies to reduce sustainable economic violence in the short term at the level of the executive authority through the removal of compulsory savings, opening a bank account for employees and requesting loans from the federal government. At the legislative level: the salaries saved as loans owed by the government must be regulated. On the other hand, and at the level of civil society organizations, these organizations should pressure the government through legal and democratic procedures. At the level of universities and academic centers: The role of thinkers and specialists in economic violence is limited to presenting the paths of economic violence and contributing to the accuracy of diagnosing the type and dimensions of the problems of economic violence in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
