The role of the state in green financing - a study in the experiences of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries

The study aimed to clarify and explain the efforts exerted by the Gulf Cooperation Council in financing the green economy, and the role of this financing in building environmentally friendly economic projects that play a major role in building sustainable development, preserving the capabilities of the environment, healthy and sustainable, and raising the level of quality of life for humans in this region. This in itself represents the problem of the study, which is based on clarifying the strenuous and great global efforts in order to preserve the quality of life and a healthy environment for humans in light of the huge rise in levels of carbon and other toxic and polluting materials.
To demonstrate this, the study used the descriptive approach, which aims to describe the phenomenon, clarify its elements, analyze it, and then draw lessons and lessons from it.
Perhaps what is new in this study is the recent figures that illustrate the large size and the important role that the countries of the Arab Gulf region play in building a green economy through their financing of many important and vital projects in a region rich in strategic wealth, especially oil, which is still the backbone of contemporary human life.
