Small and medium enterprises and their contribution to poverty alleviation in Iraq

Abstract

The research seeks to shed light on the contributions of small and medium enterprises by studying them and explaining their difficulty and their important and positive role in combating the phenomenon of poverty, as it is one of the economic and social problems that both developed and underdeveloped societies know, and the consequent spread of bad phenomena, given their flexibility in providing opportunities Work in the business community, as well as its role in national development and its reliance on individual initiatives, and what is observed in Iraq is that small and medium enterprises are still far from their pioneering role and achieving the purpose of their existence due to the presence of multiple obstacles.
