This study dealt with the relationship between the Corona pandemic and the revenues of the Iraqi federal general budget for the period (2010-2021) and the extent to which public revenues were affected by the Corona pandemic through studying the reality of the general budget and analyzing it economically. As for the aim of the study, it was to identify the role played by the Corona pandemic on the reality of the revenues of the Iraqi federal general budget, and the study starts from the hypothesis that the Corona pandemic played a major role in the decline in public revenues funded for the federal budget due to the decline in global oil prices, as the study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which Iraq's dependence on oil as a main source for financing public revenues made it vulnerable to the shocks that the oil sector is exposed to, and the study recommended adopting a strategy of transformation from a unilateral economy to a diversified economy with multiple sources of revenue, and this requires the existence of good institutions with high efficiency and integrity in developing plans and policies to achieve this Transformation, as well as government intervention and direct attribution in the diversification process.
