Measurement and analysis of total worker productivity according to the Malmquist index in the municipalities of Amanat Baghdad During the period (2021-2019)

Measuring the performance of the production unit is an indicator of great importance in determining whether this unit has achieved its objectives or not, and this measurement generates a step in the management process that contains the stage of stimulating feedback. The main objective of this research is to measure the total worker productivity in the municipalities of Amanat Baghdad by using the non-parametric Malmquist productivity index during the period (2019-2021). The change in productivity consists of two parts: the change in technical efficiency and the technical change. It should be noted that tablet data was used in the research (cross-sections and time series data). The research reached several conclusions, the most important of which are: The change in total worker productivity recorded negative growth of 30.6% in 2020, while it recorded a positive growth of 52.1% in 2021, which indicates that the reason behind the increase in the productivity change index is an increase in the technical change index, and this indicates that the municipalities were able to adapt to the changing technology, which led to an increase in total productivity, and that some of the municipalities of the Municipality of Baghdad were able to keep up with a steady pace in adapting their services and technically innovative operations. 2021 is also due to the change in net technical efficiency, the volumetric efficiency change index, and the technical change index. The economic field and indicators of sustainable development, in addition to setting up a development program for sustainable technology, and developing workers for these municipalities to be more productive.
