Awareness of the future, anticipating its horizons and realizing its challenges and opportunities are important foundations for creating any success, whether on the professional, social, or cultural levels. If people or societies do not have a clear vision of the future they want, they will fail and turn into a mere reaction to the actions of others who will... They create their preferred future. In light of these circumstances characterized by extreme change and turmoil, the importance of strategic foresight emerges for us, as it is a complement to strategic planning processes after relying on traditional planning methods without being preceded by a foresight process has become a difficult and risky matter, as these methods depend only on the process of extrapolation of clear variables. Without going deeper and addressing the other variables and different signals that can change the shape of the future. Foreseeing the future is an in-depth scientific intellectual effort based on quantitative and qualitative indicators selected according to the nature of the field of study. It is a participatory methodology that relies on collecting future information and developing medium- and long-term visions aimed at making achievable decisions at present. Systematic attempts to consider the future of science and its interactions, to enhance social, economic and environmental benefits and the process of anticipating and managing change. In light of the conditions of the global economy, we will build an Iraq oil scenario for the years 2023-2025.
