Abstract

The current research sought to determine the role of wise leadership represented by (good governance, understanding the essence of the situation, creating a common context, communicating about the essence, applying political authority, supporting practical wisdom in others) in improving operational performance in a number of production companies operating in Erbil Governorate, Where the research problem focused on answering the following question: Do wise leaders have a role in improving operational performance? The questionnaire was relied upon to obtain data and information and analyze it, as it was distributed to an intentional sample that included (67) individuals from the administrative leaders working in the selected industrial companies, and they are (department managers, assistants, department managers, divisions, and administrative units). The research also adopted the descriptive analytical approach and the use of the program statistical (spss v.23), and the research reached a set of conclusions represented in the existence of a correlation and influence between wise leadership and operational performance, which requires companies to adopt wise leadership by focusing on its overall dimensions accurately to improve operational performance, and in light of the conclusions, the research presented a set of The proposals enrich the surveyed companies with useful information.
