Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of sustainable training performance on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Continuing Education Centres at Iraqi universities. It analyzes performance across both general and sustainable dimensions, measuring its core pillars: contribution, impact, and success. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing multiple assessment tools with a rating scale of (1–5). The research sample consisted of 150 participants involved in training activities. The results showed that the social dimension ranked highest at 61%, followed by the economic dimension at 37.3%, and the environmental dimension at 1.7%. Furthermore, increased effectiveness of sustainable training performance contributed to improved representation of development goals, although moderate to low levels were observed across all centres. The study recommends that administrative boards closely monitor training activities and avoid prioritizing financial objectives over the achievement of sustainable development goals.
