Analysis of the impact of e-commerce on the used car trade in Erbil for the year 2021: A field study

The study seeks to take full advantage of the advantages of the large-capacity and high-speed Internet, enhance the core competitiveness of e-commerce models, break through traditional sales channels, and comprehensively and rapidly develop the used car market. Signs of e-commerce recovery have emerged for the buying and selling situation of the used car market in Iraq in general and the Kurdistan Region in particular, and sales horizons will be expanded and the means of communication will be used to promote the cars offered through cooperation with export companies and modern electronic applications that have contributed to solving the problem of the distance between the buyer and the seller, where the buyer can Examine the car and see all its details, then complete the export procedures and ship the car to the buyer to deliver it to his front door. And the used car trade is considered one of the necessities of the national economy, especially for developing countries, as it is one of the aspects of trade for which the demand is constantly increasing, so it was necessary to promote this vital and important sector and work to develop its performance in line with economic, social and technological developments.
Due to the importance of the topic and its novelty, this study comes to shed light on the electronic commerce of used cars through a theoretical framework for the study and an applied framework on a sample represented by car companies. Between e-commerce and used car trade Through the analysis of used car e-commerce in the city of Erbil - year 2021, the study sought to test its hypotheses using statistical programs.
The study concluded that there is a direct relationship between the practical experience in the field of electronic commerce of used cars, profit rate, infrastructure, purchase preference, market demand, and government facilities with the activity of buying used cars by companies in the city of Erbil.
